My name is Julie Brady and I own a sustainable design firm in the Southern Berkshires of Massachusetts called Twine Designs. Due to family health issues and working with many populations that have health concerns, we find it essential to incorporate healthy, organic, sustainable products into our projects.

While working on a recent multi-family in Lenox, Massachusetts that is seeking LEED certification (United States Green Building Council modality for certifying green buildings) it occurred to us how wonderful it would be to create a source for truly green interior products- linens, bedding, décor, and textiles that have a strong connection back to the artists, designers and creators of the merchandise.

We live in a world where the current state of consumption is impacting our environment negatively. Mass consumption of manufactured goods can’t be changed over night. We can all take steps to raise consumer consciousness and purchase items conscientiously. Providing goods that have individual stories and give back socially and environmentally is our way of making selective consumption more meaningful.

We are here to provide textiles, clothes, and body products that have a low impact on the planet. On top of the donations provided by the companies we work with, an additional five percent of our profits will fund further environmental and social responsibility. From the materials they’re made of and the ways they’re transported, to the ways we package and market them, we consider our impact at every stage.Even our website is run on 100% Solar Power.

Climate change is real – and we believe that we can do something about it. Green Body & Home is a company that has a positive impact. Because, climate change or no climate change, using less resources and no pesticides, and producing less emissions and less waste, is better for this business, for the people who buy products and for the planet as a whole.
